Charlene "Petey" Huston, age 88 of McKeesport, passed away on January 6, 2016 at UPMC Presbyterian Hospital. Born June 25, 1927 in McKeesport, she was the daughter of the late Walter and Helen (Berry) Johnson, and beloved wife of the late Clarence Huston.

Charlene "Petey" Huston, age 88 of McKeesport, passed away on January 6, 2016 at UPMC Presbyterian Hospital. Born June 25, 1927 in McKeesport, she was the daughter of the late Walter and Helen (Berry) Johnson, and beloved wife of the late Clarence Huston. Charlene was a retired school guard for McKeesport School District, but was most known as being a wonderful homemaker and mother. She lived most of her life in Highland Grove, and was affectionately known as the "Highland Grove Grandma" by many of the neighborhood children. She was an excellent listener, who was always only a phone call away to provide advice and a shoulder to lean on. She will be missed by her loving family who were the center of her life. She is survived by her children, Sandy (Jim Cavalancia) Bezick of McKeesport, Gary Huston of McKeesport, Greg Huston of White Oak, Debbie (Tom "Hutch") Hutchison of McKeesport, and Randy Huston of White Oak; grandchildren, Tammy, Lisa, Jimmy, Heidi, Brian, Derek, Jarrod, Brandy, and Brandon; 15 great-grandchildren; siblings, Eileen (Skip) Pierce, Jean (Hank) Hayes, and Raymond "Nick" (Judy) Johnson; and many nieces and nephews. In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her son and daughter-in-law, Duane and Andrea Huston; grandson, Gregory Huston; and siblings, Millie Chismar, Alice Kwiecinski, Walter "Bud" Johnson, Edward Johnson, Paul Johnson, Charles Johnson, and Margaret Moralas. Family and friends will be received at Jaycox-Jaworski Funeral Home & Crematory on Sunday, January 10, 2016 from 1-8 p.m. Funeral Service will be Monday, January 11, 2016 at 11 a.m. in the funeral home chapel.
