Lawrence T. "Larry" Denne Sr., 61, of Duquesne, died Friday, Jan. 1, 2016, in Fairhope, Pa. Born Sept. 11, 1954, in McKeesport, he was a son of the late Eleanor (Reyes) and Stephen Denne Sr. He was retired from U.S. Steel, Clairton Works, and formerly worked at U.S. Steel, Duquesne Works. He enjoyed spending time at his family cabin in Somerset County. He also enjoyed being with his friends at Harvey's in West Mifflin. 

He was the father of Jewel Denne, of Clairton, and Lawrence Denne Jr., of Pittsburgh; and brother of Diana (Rudy) Niznansky, of Walkersville, Md., Stephen (Joan) Denne Jr., of Antioch, Calif., Christopher (Charlene) Denne, of Elizabeth, Gregg Denne, of Titusville, Karen Denne, of Duquesne, and Daniel (Mary Beth) Denne, of Elizabeth. Also surviving are aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.

Visitation from 2 to 8 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 9, 2016, at MALOY-SCHLEIFER FUNERAL HOME INC., 915 Kennedy Ave., Duquesne, 412-466-3300, William B. Schleifer, supervisor, William Brian Schleifer, funeral director, where a blessing service will be held at 7 p.m. with the Rev. Thomas Lewandowski officiating.
