Nellie J. (Barner) Nicholls, age 76, of North Versailles passed away Monday, September 21, 2020 surrounded by her loving family. She was born September 29, 1943 in East McKeesport, a daughter of the late John and Phoebe Barner. She was a longtime member of Linway United Presbyterian Church in East McKeesport and a past member of Eastern Star. She worked for over 46 years as the manager of housing at Pitt University in Pittsburgh and was a dedicated leader for many years in the local Girl Scouts.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her brother John “Jack” Barner. She is survived by her grandchildren Chris (Tina) Nicholls, Mike (Jen) Nicholls and A.J. Pascarella; great grandchildren Skyy and Christopher Nicholls; Sister Sarah “Sally” (Marty) Kerchner; brother Robert (Jennifer) Barner; and many nieces and nephews. Services are private.
