Benjamin F. Termin, 73, of Ardara, died Thursday June 16, 2016 at home. He was born October 30, 1942 in Clearfield County, a son of the late John Herold and Catherine (Houser) Termin. Ben served in the Army for two years and was a self-employed carpenter. In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by his first wife Nyla M. (Werkman) Termin, a sister Labutis Mae Baker, and his step son Richard D. Paulus.
Ben is survived by his daughter, Tracy M. Termin; his lifetime companion, Irene Paulus; his step daughter, Heidiann Paulus Dura and her husband Emeka; his step grandchildren, Dominick and Demi Paulus; and a very special step great grandson Maxx; siblings, Verdine (Larry) Bard, Anne E. Moffa, LeRoy Termin, Richard (Kay) Termin; numerous nieces and nephews; his precious dogs Mini and Maggie; and grand dog Jack. At Ben’s request there will be no viewing. A memorial service will be held at 6 p.m. today, Saturday, June 18, 2016, in Ardara Evangelical Presbyterian Church, 3380 Nehrig Hill Rd., Ardara, PA 15615, with Elder Glenn Myers, officiating. The family would like to thank Excela Health Home Care - Hospice, especially his nurse Chrissy, for all the kind and compassionate care.
