James M. Lewis, age 82, of West Elizabeth, passed away on Wednesday, January 6, 2016 at Allegheny General Hospital. He was employed in the maintenance department of U.S. Steel, Christy Park Works and was a U.S. Army veteran serving during the Korean War. Born April 3, 1933 in West Elizabeth, he was a son of the late Robert and Malvina (Pascoe) Lewis.

He is survived by his wife of 55 years, Shirley A. (Vavra) Lewis; daughter, Sharon (Eric) Reese of Forward Twp.; grandchildren, James (Kerisa) Lewis, Jeff Reese and Shawn Reese, all of Forward Twp.; two great-grandchildren; also nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a son, James R. Lewis; a granddaughter, April Reese; and a brother, Robert Lewis. There is no visitation or services scheduled.
