Michael J. Pazuchanics

Michael J. Pazuchanics, 77, of Glassport, died May 12, 2016.  He is the son of the late George and Helen Pazuchanics.  Loving husband of the late Carol Ann (Huntey) Pazuchanics.  He is survived by his children Patricia (Timothy) Minkus of Liberty Boro, Michael (Susan) Pazuchanics of Peters Twp. and David (Denice) Pazuchanics of Whitehall; grandchildren Rebecca, Alexander (Michelle), Emile (Brian), Nicholas, Michael and Kathryn; brother Nicholas Pazuchanics of McKeesport; also nieces and nephews.  He was preceded in death by brother Peter Pazuchanics and sister Mary Rice.

Michael was a retired electrical engineer with the Bureau of Mines; a member of St. Michael's Orthodox Church; and was a volunteer with the Greater Pittsburgh Food Bank and Elizabeth Food Pantry.  He was an avid square dancer with the Happy Go Lucky Square Dancers, and spent his free time encouraging and supporting his grandchildren by attending their activities.

 

Friends received Wojciechowski Funeral Home, Glassport, Sun. 2-7.  A panachida will be held Sun. at 6:00 pm in the funeral home.  A funeral blessing will be held Mon. 9:30 am in the funeral home, followed by a 10:00 am funeral service at St. Michael's Orthodox Church with Father George Patrick.  Interment following McKeesport-Versailles Cemetery.  Memorial contributions may be made to either the Greater Pittsburgh Food Bank or the Whitehall Library.
