Elizabeth F. “Betty” Kifer, 91, of Monroeville, formerly of Irwin, died Friday September 14, 2018. She was born July 3, 1927 in Titusville, a daughter of the late Clyde L. and Iris (Mook) Friend and was also preceded in death by her husband James B. Kifer and her brother and his wife Clyde and Myrtle Friend. She was a retired secretary for Equitable Gas Co. and a longtime member of First United Church of Christ, Irwin. Prior to her husband’s passing they enjoyed traveling in their motorhome and enjoyed bridge club with friends.

Surviving are her daughters Karen L. Kifer and Jamie B. (Daniel) Kincaid, also nieces and nephews. Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Monday at the William Snyder Funeral Home, 521 Main Street, Irwin, 724-863-1200, where a funeral service will be held at noon Tuesday with Rev.
