Kay F. Adams, 80, of North Huntingdon, passed peacefully from this life Monday, July 30 at Excela Health, Greensburg. Our loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend was born October 20, 1937 to the late Jack and Frances (Dominici) Marsden of McKeesport. She was preceded in death by her husband Jon R. Adams, son James Douglas Adams, and infant grandson Jon Cody Adams. Kay is survived by her sons Jon (Justine) Adams and Scott (Mindy) Adams; six grandchildren Rose, Jennifer, Melissa, William, Abby, and Molly; and eight great-grandchildren who all affectionately know her as G.G.

Kay was employed as a sales associate for more than 20 years at Hills Department Store in North Huntingdon and worked as Cafeteria Manager at Norwin Junior High School West for 10 years. She was an avid reader and faithful volunteer at Norwin Public Library, Westmoreland County Food Bank, and N.C.R.C. Kay also enjoyed quilting, crafting, baking and spending time with her family. She was a member of St. John’s United Church of Christ in Larimer, the Ardara Quilt Club, and A.A.R.P. #3221.
In honor of Kay’s wishes there will be no service or viewing. Memorial donations may be made in Kay’s honor to St. John’s United Church of Christ, 1230 Brownstown Road, Larimer, PA. 15647.
