Lillian V. (Anderson) Rain, age 91, of North Irwin, went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, March 16, 2016. She was born January 7, 1925 in North Irwin, a daughter of the late Albert and Emma (Magnason) Anderson. She was a member of the Norwin Church of the Nazarene in Circleville for over 50 years. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband of over 49 years Russell Rain; daughter Judith A. Luffy; granddaughter Misty L. Gasparovic; brothers Herbert, Lawrence, Roy, Russell and Arnold Anderson; and sister Mildred Sherbondy.
She is survived by her daughter Janet L. (Stephen) Cerqua of North Huntingdon; grandchildren Jamie, Stephen, Lori and Joe; great grandchildren Jacey, Bria, Victoria, Austin, Jordyn, Tessa and Avrie; sister Esther Whitehead of North Huntingdon; and nieces and nephews. Friends and family will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at the William Snyder Funeral Home, Inc., 521 Main Street, Irwin, 724-863-1200. A funeral service will be held at noon on Saturday at the Norwin Church of the Nazarene. Interment will follow in Union Cemetery, Irwin.
