Margaret H. (Hrtyanski) Piovesan, age 96, of North Huntingdon, passed away Tuesday, September 26, 2017. She was born September 7, 1921 in North Huntingdon, a daughter of the late Paul and Julia (Skito) Hrtyanski. She was a member of the First Presbyterian Church, Irwin, and participated in the church quilting group. She loved to cook and bake every chance she got. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband of over 41 years Glenn C. Piovesan; son David H. Piovesan; sisters Mildred Hrtyanski and Julia Zwald; and brother Julius Hrtyansky. She is survived by her daughter Karen (Gary) Shupe; grandsons Brian (Alisha) Shupe and Steve (Joe Lascar) Shupe.

Friends and family will be received from 4 p.m. to 8pm.m Wednesday at the William Snyder Funeral Home, Inc., 521 Main Street, Irwin, 724-863-1200. A funeral service will follow at 8 p.m. with Dr. Ronald H. Wakeman, officiating. Private interment will be at Mars Hill Cemetery, Sewickley Township.
