John Edward Williams, 90, of West Mifflin, passed away on Friday, May 12, 2017 at John J Kane Regional Center in Glen Hazel. He was born December 3, 1926 in Pittsburgh to the late Lawrence and Martha Becker Williams. John was preceded in death by his loving wife, Thelma Wray Williams. He is survived by his daughter Mary (Robert) Barbara Hough of Clairton, two granddaughters, Amber (Frank) Wehrer of Glassport and Melissa Steiner of West View, grandsons, John Balistrieri Jr. of Lincoln Place and Matthew Hough of Jefferson Hills, and 5 great-grand children; Shawn, Eric, Learra, Jordica, and Jordan. John is also survived by his nieces and nephews. John was a member of the Resurrection Church in West Mifflin.

He worked as a printing press operator and was employed by the former Parkway Reproductions in Swissvale. John also held many memberships; he was a life member and past president of Homeville Volunteer Fire Co. #1, past president and recording secretary for the Allegheny County Volunteer Firefighters association, a member of the Western PA Fireman’s Association and the State of PA Fireman’s Association. A memorial service is to be announced at a later date. Inurnment will take place at a later date at New St. Josephs Cemetery in North Versailles. Arrangements have been entrusted to S.M.
