Martha M. (Yuhos) Samudovsky, 87, of Duquesne, died Saturday, March 25, 2017 at Family Hospice, from breast cancer that could not undergo continued treatment in the aftermath of a hospital spleen injury. She was pre-deceased by her husband, Francis R. Samudovsky. Born Feb. 19, 1930 in Duquesne, she was the beloved daughter of the late Mary (Latzy) and John Yuhos of West Mifflin's Homeville section; and a sister of the late Wilma (Yuhos) Clarick. Martha worked as head cashier at Househould Finance and retired as a medical secretary at Montefiore Hospital.

She was a member of St. Stephen Roman Catholic Church until it closed, later joining Resurrection Church in Homeville. She loved animals, was a cookbook collector, and enjoyed bingo and slot machines. She is survived by daughters Susan Samudovsky (Duquesne) and Kathleen Samudovsky (South Hills), who will sadly miss her; son John Samudovsky and daughter-in-law Trudie (Kepich) Samudovsky (Elizabeth Township); two grandchildren; and nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be on Wednesday, March 29, 2017 from 4:00pm to 8:00pm in the William S. Skovranko Memorial Home, Inc., Richford and Commonwealth Avenues, Duquesne. A Blessing in the Memorial Home on Thursday, March 30, 2017 at 9:30am will be followed by Mass of Christian Burial in Resurrection Catholic Church, West Mifflin at 10am. Burial to follow in St. Mary's R.C. Cemetery in White Oak.
