Fred J. Batley, 86, of North Huntingdon, passed away Thursday, January 26, 2017 at UPMC McKeesport Hospital.

He was born March 13, 1930 in Monroeville, PA.  Prior to his retirement, Fred was a supervisor for Champion Tool and Die Company and a veteran of the Korean War having served in the US Air Force.  He and Dan were known as the bicycle repairman in the neighborhood.  He was preceded in death by his wife, Erma Elizabeth Bradshaw Batley.  He is survived by his only son, Danny S. Batley; his daughter, Dannie Lee (RN), stepson, Robert Ray; good friends Judy and Bill Alund, and Herman.  Funeral services are private.  Arrangements made by the James W.
