Tim Rod Rupert, 86, a lifelong resident of Clairton, passed away peacefully on Sunday, September 7, 2025, at William Penn Care Center in Jeannette. He was born in McKeesport Hospital on October 18, 1938, to the late Edward W. and Lois J. Baxendell Rupert. He was preceded in death by his twin sister Diane Tatar, and his brothers Richard and Danny. Tim was the owner of Rupert's (Bucks) Pizza and Bar. He will be remembered for his fish sandwiches and pizza in a brown bag. He was a lover of all sports, and he sponsored several sports teams in town. Tim enjoyed hunting, fishing, and walking in the woods his beloved Scrubbie. He was a member of the Free Masons, Stephen Bayard Lodge in Elizabeth, and dress up as Santa for his customers for many years. He is survived by his daughter Renee (Malcolm) Shuster of Jeanette, grandchildren Megan (Sean) Jones of Locust Grove, VA, and Natalie Hredzak of Delmont, great-grandchildren Brayden, Mason, Alayna and Lillian, brother Edward Rupert of Florida, and sister Vickie (Robert) Braglio of Philladelphia. Family and friends will be received on Saturday, September 20, 2025 from 8:30 AM to 10:30 AM at S.M. FINNEY FUNERAL HOME, 432 N. 6th St, Clairton, PA 15025 to be followed by a service in the funeral home at 10:30 AM. Inurnment will follow at Round Hill Cemetery.
