Regis “Rege” “Regie” Kollar, 67, passed away Friday, February 28, 2025 after a short battle with cancer. He was born July 23, 1957.

Rege was a ceramic tile installer by profession and was passionate about his work. Rege enjoyed frequently going to his brother Ray’s hunting cabin to hunt wildlife with his brothers and friends. He was a longtime member of the Hartford Heights Fire Hall. Rege will be greatly missed by his entire family.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Regis T. and Mary Ann (Uderman) Kollar, and his nephew, Jaicob (Jake) Kollar. He is survived by his brothers, Raymond (Terri) Kollar of Greensburg, Ronald Kollar of North Huntingdon and Richard (Patty) Kollar of White Oak. He is also survived by his nephew, Jason Kollar of Pittsburgh, his niece, Rachel Kollar of Greensburg, his son, Shane Snyder and Shane's wife Tara and their three children. He is also survived by his aunt, Toni Uderman of North Irwin (wife of the late George “Butch” Uderman), his cousin James (Jimmy) Heverly of North Braddock, along with other cousins, aunts and uncles.

Friends and family will be received from 3 to 7 p.m. Friday, March 7, at the William Snyder Funeral Home, 521 Main Street, Irwin, where a blessing service will follow at 7 p.m.

In lieu of flowers, a memorial contribution may be made to Medi Home Hospice, 109 Crossroads Road, Suite 110, Scottdale, PA 15683.
