Robert “Bob” G. Joseph Getlak, age 64, of North Huntingdon passed away on Monday, December 12, 2016. He was born March 19, 1952 in Braddock, a son of the late George and Mary (Georgeff) Getlak. He retired after 30 years of being a mail carrier for the Braddock Post Office and he had worked at the Gold Circle Store in Braddock Hills. He was a big fan of the Steelers, Penguins and Pirates, and he had coached a softball team in the Regent Square area. He loved comic book and sports card collecting, and was at the flea markets at Greater Valley, Olympia and East Land.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by a brother Richard Getlak. He is survived by his wife of over 8 ½ years Sharon D. (Confer) Getlak; step-sons Eric (Nickki) Kostelnik of West Mifflin, Adam Kostelnik of North Braddock and Andrew Kostelnik of North Huntingdon; granddaughter Emma Kostelnik; sisters Rosey (Scott) Copland and Mary Rose Getlack of Braddock Hills; brother George (Faith) Getlak of Plum; Nephews Michael and Brenden Getlack and Cameron Copland; and niece Danielle Getlak. He will be greatly missed by his dogs Joey and Mo. Friends and family will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at the William Snyder Funeral Home, Inc., 521 Main Street, Irwin, 724-863-1200, where everyone will gather at 11 a.m. Thursday for a blessing service.
