Betty N. (Painter) Hohman, age 92, of Irwin, passed away on Sunday, November 27, 2016. She was born October 25, 1924 in Paintertown, a daughter of the late Elmer Lewis and Eva (Pringle) Painter. She was a long time member of the Paintertown Lutheran Church. She was a waitress for over 18 years at the Colonial Grill in Irwin. She was an avid golfer and loved watching her grandkids participate in sporting events.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband of over 66 years George M. Hohman; sons Larry and George; brothers Jack and Wayne; and sisters Flora, Chelsea, Margaret, Lillian and Helen. She is survived by her son Allan (Marianne); grandsons Roger, Shane (Amy), Steve (Laura), Larry Jr. (Toni), Christopher (Jen), Lee (Briggett), Tyler; only granddaughter Erin (Caleb); fifteen great grandchildren;one great-great grandchild; and daughter-in-laws Mary and Sharon. Friends and family will be received 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at the William Snyder Funeral Home, Inc., 521 Main Street, Irwin, 724-863-1200 where everyone will gather for a funeral service at 1 p.m. Saturday with Pastor Roger Stiner officiating.
