Walter P. "Dip" Forsythe, age 70, of McKeesport, died at home on March 18, 2024, and he was born on July 24, 1953, in McKeesport.
Those who knew Walter remember him as a man who lived life to the fullest.  He was passionate about dancing and could always be found on the dance floor, sharing a twirl with anyone willing to join him.  His love for socializing extended to his fondness for a good drink, and his enthusiasm made him memorable wherever he went. In addition to his interests in dancing and socializing, Walter was a lifelong Pittsburgh Steelers fan, cheering on his favorite team with unwavering loyalty.  His dedication to his community, country, and sports team exemplified his commitment to what he loved most in life.

Walter is also survived by his caregiver, Kellie Deemer; daughter, Patricia Forsythe; step-son, Joshua (Candice Emery) Deemer; step-daughter, Anna (Mike) Bolcar; granddaughters, Suvannaha (Cody) Deemer and Anistashia (Ryan Gonzales) Emery, and five additional grandchildren; great-grandson, Kolson Sandusky and one additional great-grandchild; sister, Alice (Neil) Helderlein; uncle, Pat (Peggy) DiPerna; best friends, George Torres and Ryan Nestor.  He is also survived by cousins, nieces, and nephews.
Family and friends will be received at Willig Funeral Home & Crematory on Tuesday, April 2, 2024, from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 until time of service at 7 p.m. Condolences and memories may be shared at www.willigfuneralcremationservices.com.
