Frank G. Sprentz Jr., 73,of McKeesport Passed away peacefully at home on Tuesday, February 13, 2024, Born November 10, 1950 in McKeesort, he was the son of the late Frank G. Sr. and Irene McClure Sprentz. He was the beloved husband of 47 years to Leona Zabelsky Sprentz, he was also survived by two loving sons, Zack (Lindsay) Sprentz of Rincon, GA and Brad Sprentz of Brooklyn, NY, a sister, Sue (Steve) Braunfield of Naples, FLA. and Cleveland, Ohio, and many neices, nephews and friends. He was a 1968 Graduate of McKeesport High School and a 1972 Graduate of Edinboro  University as an Art Major.  Frank was a retired commercial sign painter for Kasmarik Signs, KAG Sign Works and BAW Plastics. He was also an accomplished self taught drummer who played in numerous bands including Sudden Grace, Harmony and Glenn Pavone and the Cyclones, which he also wrote songs for. He also enjoyed 4th of July Parties and Saturday morning jams with Coz. Frank was a quiet gentle man with a heart of gold, who loved his sons, Hemi cars, music and TV shows.

As per Mr. Sprentz wishes there will be no visitation or services at this time. A celebration of Frank's life will be held at a later date. Services entrusted to William S. Skovranko Memorial Home Inc., 828 Richford Street, Duquesne.

A memorial garden will be planted with trees, shrubs and flowers in Frank's memory at Aleo Lake in Stahlstown, PA. If you wish to donate to the memorial Garden please make donations to his wife Leona. PLEASE DO NOT ORDER TREES OR PLANTS AND HAVE THEM SENT, or Donations can be made in Mr. Sprentz's memory to Jamie's Dream Team, 4617 Walnut Street, McKeesport, PA 15132.
