Wellington E. “Bud” Curry, age 76, of West Mifflin, died September 25, 2016, at Jefferson Regional Medical Center. Born May 6, 1940, in Clearfield, Pa, He was the son of the late Wellington E. and Viola (McMullen) Curry and the husband of Lois (Blake) Curry.
Bud was a retired union carpenter and a 58 year member of the United Brotherhood of Carpenters, Local 230.

He was a member and past master of the Youghiogheny Lodge # 583 F. & A.M., Valley of Pittsburgh Northern Jurisdiction, Mount Moriah Council No. 2, Pittsburgh Commandery No. 1 Knights Templar, Zerubbabel – Duquesne Royal Arch Chapter No. 162 and a Syria Shriner. He also enjoyed gardening and antique cars.
In addition to his wife, Bud is survived by children, Deborah Werner of Lanexa, VA, Wellington (Carol) Curry, III of Elizabeth, Russell (Katrina) Curry of Renton, WA and David (Amy) Curry of Pittsburgh; grandchildren, Amy (Matt) Filling, Tyler and Rebecca Curry; nephew, Richard (Tracy) Swihart.
He was also preceded in death by a sister Elda Moran.
Family and friends will be received at Willig Funeral Home & Crematory on Tuesday, September 27, 2016, from 4 to 9 p.m. Services will be held in the funeral home chapel on Wednesday, September 28, 2016, at 10 a.m., with Pastor Jody Dausey officiating. Entombment will follow in Mt Vernon Cemetery Mausoleum.
