John F. "Fangs" Farally, Sr., age 56, of Pitcairn, died August 18, 2022, at AHN Forbes Hospital. Born January 7, 1966, in Braddock, he was the son of the late Henry A. Farally Sr. and Dorothy Jean (Moore) Farally.
Fangs was raised in Rankin, Hawkins Village, and attended Howard St. High School. He worked for the Union Railroad and then Flagger Force. Emergency services were a family tradition and ran deep within Fang's blood. He was a Volunteer Fireman with Citizen's Hose Co. #1 of Glassport - Station 161 and lived for it. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and especially sitting around a campfire, sharing stories with his family. John was a loving and compassionate man who was always willing to help anyone in need.

He is survived by his children, John (Erin) Farally, Jr., Melissa (Kevin) Moats, Michael Farally, Susan Farally, and eleven grandchildren; siblings, Pat (Jim) Aires, Bill (Dawn) Farally, Hank (Marilyn) Farally, Jr, Vinny (Michelle) Farally, Thomas (Bobbi) Farally, Patricia (George) Smith, and Scott (Cammeo) Farally. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, John was also preceded in death by his nephew, Vincent "Vino" Farally.
Family and friends will be received at Jaycox-Jaworski Funeral Home & Crematory on Wednesday, August 24, 2022 from Noon until the funeral service at 4 p.m.
