Lenore R. Zovko, age 80 of Clairton, passed away on Tuesday, September 20, 2016 in West Penn Hospital, Pittsburgh.  Born September 1, 1936 in Homestead, she was a daughter of the late Howard and Alice (Olson) Brennan.

A retired verifier for US Steel Irvin Works, Lenore was a parishioner of St. Clare of Assisi Church and a member of the American Legion Daniel Keffer Post 75.  Her family will remember her always as the greatest and most amazing wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother.  Lenore is survived by her husband of 60 years Francis Zovko, Sr.; her son Francis (Jayme) Zovko, Jr. of Clairton; her daughters Lenore R. (Daniel) Sutton of Freedom and Linda Villafuerte of Perryopolis; her grandchildren Matthew, Daniel, Jeffrey, Rachel and Lauren; her great-grandchildren Mackenzie, Colin, Ellie, Merrick and Miles; her brother James Brennan of Galveston, TX; her sisters Dolores Clark of Ft. Lauderdale, FL and Sandra (Victor) Defelice of Jacksonville, FL; and also nieces and nephews.  Besides her parents, Lenore was preceded in death by her son Patrick J. Zovko and her brother Daniel Brennan.  Friends will be received in the A.J. Bekavac Funeral Home, 555 5th. St., Clairton, PA 15025 (412-233-5700) on Thursday, September 22, 2016 from 3 to 7 PM.  A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, September 23, 2016 at 10 AM in St. Clare of Assisi Church, Clairton.  Interment will be private.  www.bekavacfuneralhome.com
