Matthew Glenn Bell, age 27, of Irwin, passed away on July 28, 2022. He was born on August 16, 1994, in Pittsburgh. Matthew is the son of Glenn (Kathleen) Bell and Kimberly (Richard) Zanella Smail.
He grew up in North Versailles, attended East Allegheny, and graduated from Yough High School. Matthew followed his passions, working as an advanced automotive technician at multiple high-end car dealerships in the area and recently began working for U.S. Steel. His greatest joys in life were working on his personal cars, going to the gym, and spending time with his beloved dog Pouncey.

In addition to his parents, Matthew is survived by siblings; Heather (Michael) Zola and Michael Bell; maternal grandmother, Jeanne Zanella. He is preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Harold (Eleanor) Bell, Sr.; maternal grandfather, Ernest Zanella, Jr.; and his beloved childhood dog, Butch. Matthew also leaves behind the love of his life, Allie Taylor.
Family and friends will be received at Jaycox-Jaworski Funeral Home & Crematory on Monday, August 1, 2022, from 7 to 9 p.m., and Tuesday from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral services will be on Wednesday, August 3, 2022, at First Evangelical Free Church, at 10 a.m. Committal prayers and burial will follow in Plum Creek Cemetery.
