Ada M. Genito, age 98, formerly of Duquesne, passed away on Wednesday, May 4, 2022.  Born in Duquesne on December 23, 1923, she was the daughter of the late James and Esther (Feretti) Ardiana. Ada was retired from A&P as a cashier, was a member of St. Thomas the Apostle Parish-Holy Name Church and the GFWC Women’s Club of Duquesne, volunteered for Meals on Wheels and the Duquesne-West Mifflin Boys and Girls Club, and worked at Homestead Works of U.S. Steel during World War II. She is the mother of Joseph (fiancé Dixie A. Cianciotti) Genito of Jeannette; grandmother of Kristen (John) Walker and Shelley (Mark) Eberle; great grandmother of Ethan and Dylan Eberle; and sister of the late Beatrice Bedont. There will be no visitation. Memorial Mass of Christian Burial will be held at Holy Name Church, Duquesne, on Monday, May 9, 2022, at 10:00 a.m., with Rev. Tony Gargotta, officiating.
