Raymond A. Balint, age 87, of McKeesport, died February 8, 2022, at UPMC McKeesport. Born December 23, 1934, in Homestead, he was the son of the late Andrew Balint and the late Margaret (Bakos) Balint-Gaydos and the loving husband of Barbara Ann (Polanowski) Balint.

Ray retired from US Steel Duquesne Works, where he was a Chemical Lab Technician. He was also the Grievance man of the Electric Furnace Department. He then worked security, with AM Guard, at the practice facility for the Pittsburgh Steelers and Panthers football teams. Ray was a US Army veteran and a member of the White Oak American Legion, Post # 701. He was a member of Mary, Mother of God Parish, and attended St. Angela Merici Church. He was also a member of the GBU and the PNA. Ray enjoyed fishing, Steelers football, and old military movies.
In addition to his wife, Ray is survived by his children, Leslie Jo (Curt) Filson of Charlotte, NC and Carla Forsythe of Greenock; grandchildren, Natalee (Zack) Bright of Elizabeth, Nathan, Austin, and Dylan; also nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Along with his parents, Ray was also preceded in death by a son-in-law, Richard Forsythe.
Family and friends will be received at Jaycox-Jaworski Funeral Home & Crematory on Friday, February 11, 2022, from 10 a.m. until the time of blessing service at 12 p.m., in the funeral home chapel. Committal prayers, military honors, and burial will follow in Holy Trinity Cemetery of West Mifflin.
