Anthony Joseph Eremia, 96, of North Huntingdon, passed away Wednesday, January 26, 2022 at home. He was born July 21, 1925 in McKeesport and was the son of the late Eugene and Antoinette (Tripoli) Eremia. Anthony was the husband of 56 years to the late Frances (Merinello) Eremia, who passed away in 2005.  He was a US Army WWII Veteran, and for his service he received 2 Purple Hearts, The Bronze Oak Leaf Cluster, The Good Conduct Medal, The European African Middle Eastern Campaign Medal and was also a POW. He would go on to work for the former US Steel National Tube Works for 35 years and retired as a pipe inspector. He was a member of Mary, Mother of God Parish, St. Angela Worship Site.  Anthony enjoyed painting and was a good provider for his family.  He will be greatly missed.  He is survived by son, Michael A. (Tammy) Eremia of North Huntingdon, daughter-in-law, Lisa Eremia of North Huntingdon, grandchildren, Nichole, Danny, Gena and Jamie, great-grandchildren, Cameron, Easton, Sativa and Willow, as well as nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents and wife, he was preceded in death by his son, Eugene A. Eremia and sister, Frances. There is no visitation.  Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 am on Tuesday, February 1, 2022 at Mary, Mother of God - St. Angela Worship Site, 1640 Fawcett Ave, White Oak, (EVERYONE PLEASE MEET AT THE CHURCH).
