John "Jack" C. Evans, 100, of N. Huntingdon, passed away Monday, January 24, 2022 at Juniper Village, Forest Hills, PA.  He was born September 4, 1921 in N. Braddock, a son of the late Willis and Lillian (Coulson) Evans.  Prior to his retirement, Jack was a research technician for US Steel, a WWII veteran of the US Army and a Mason.  He was a member of the Circleville United Methodist Church and enjoyed golfing, bowling, playing basketball, doing yardwork, and camping and traveling with Jean.  In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Audrey Jean Evans, great-grandson, Bennett Evans; brothers, Willis and Howard Evans, and sister, Narida Evans Rhodes.  He is survived by his son, John Evans and his wife, Lorna; daughters, Ellen Evans Yagodzinksi and her husband, Frank, Christine Evans Williams and her husband, Jim; 11 grandchildren; and 25 great-grandchildren.  Friends will be received from 3-8 p.m. on Thursday at the James W. Shirley Funeral Home, 176 Clay Pike, N. Huntingdon, PA  15642.  A funeral service will take place on Friday at 11 a.m. in the funeral home chapel.  Interment to follow in Restland Memorial Park, Monroeville.  www.shirleyfuneralhome.com
