Mildred V. “Tu-Tu” (Tomosky) Rizzo, 92, died December 14, 2021, surrounded by her loving family.

Tu-Tu was famous for her pancakes. She enjoyed playing cards and going to the casino. Her greatest joy was her family and the time she spent with them. Each grandchild and great-grandchild was her favorite. She was strong in her faith, and regularly attended mass at St. Jude the Apostle Church in Wilmerding, where she was also a member of the Rosary Society. Tu-Tu was like a grandmother to many.  She was deeply loved and will be dearly missed.

Tu-Tu was the loving mother of Joanne (David) Peters, Jeanne (Michael) Cahill, Henry J. “Riggie” Rizzo Jr. (Rhonda), and Annamarie Tucker (Scott). She was the adoring grandmother of, Eric (Katie) Peters, Robert (Bethany) Peters, Stephen Peters (Holly), Michael (Mary) Cahill, Jennifer (Tony) Alfieri, Michael (Billi) Wilden, Dana (Bill) McDonald, and Richard (Tina) Tucker; great-grandmother of, Shayna, Torie, Haley, Mackenzie, Michael, Jake, Henry, Nate, Gabby, Ben, Nick, Lily, Attie, Carter, Alivia, and Mikaila. She is also survived by her sister-in-law, Toni Rizzo, brother-in-law, Guy Rizzo, and her beloved grand-dogs, Prince and Kiko.  Tu-Tu was preceded in passing by her devoted husband, Henry J. “Reggie” Rizzo Sr., parents, Andrew P. Tomosky and Millie Regalis, brother, Albert Tomosky, and her best friend, Theresa Charletta.

A Mass of Christian Burial was held Dec. 18, 2021, at St. Jude the Apostle Church of St. Joseph the Worker Parish. Tu-Tu was laid to rest beside her husband, Reggie, in Good Shepherd Catholic Cemetery. Arrangements were in charge of Alfieri Funeral Home.
