John Chepanoske, age 58, of Forward Twp., passed away on Saturday, October 16, 2021 at home. He was a customer service assistant at Dollar Bank in Penn Hills and a member of the Church of Jesus Christ in Monongahela. He was a gifted musician and the pianist at the church. He was a graduate of California University of Pennsylvania where he majored in education and also a graduate of Community College of Allegheny County where he majored in accounting. John loved collecting and displaying flags and kites. Born October 16, 1963 in McKeesport, he was a son of the late William A. “Chip” Chepanoske and Marian (Andrejchak) Chepanoske. He is survived by his sister, Cheryl Ashcraft of Elizabeth Twp.; brothers, Anthony (Andrea) Chepanoske of Buena Vista, William Chepanoske of Lakeside, AZ and David Chepanoske of Sewickley; also, aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews. Friends will be received in the Paul E. Bekavac Funeral Home, Elizabeth on Tuesday, October 26, 2021 from 4-8PM. A funeral service will take place on Wednesday, October 27, 2021 at 12 Noon in the Church of Jesus Christ, 525 6th Street, Monongahela, PA 15063 with Evangelist Robert Nicklow, Jr. officiating. EVERYONE PLEASE MEET AT THE CHURCH. Burial will follow in Round Hill Cemetery, Elizabeth Twp.
