 Kathleen J. Pilarski, age 70, of North Irwin, died June 15, 2021, at Barnes Place.  She was born on September 15, 1950, in Connellsville, PA and was the daughter of the late Edward and Melanie (Prutz) Stepanic.  Kathi was a registered nurse and had a career spanning from labor and delivery nurse, home health/hospice nurse, and part time school nurse.  She was a member of Immaculate Conception Church in Irwin.  Kathi loved traveling to Lexington, Kentucky and Florida, tending to her yard and rock gardens, country line dancing, sewing, and shopping.  Her greatest joy in life was being a devoted Mom and Nan.  Kathi loved sending hand written cards, complete with confetti and usually a $1 bill to all she loved.

She is survived by her supportive daughter, Erica Kemerer and her helpful husband, Skip of Greensburg and her loving son, Don Pilarski and his caring wife, Kristin of Sutersville.  Her sweet babies, Alyssa and August who will miss visiting their Nan and taking "sidewalks", shredding papers for her, and eating baba nunus.  Her sister and best friend, Judith Fifield and amazing brother-in-law, Richard of Lexington, KY.  Also survived by nieces and nephews: Pat, Erin, Carter, Hope, and Max Fifield of Lexington, KY,  Brian, Nicole, Zachary, and Aelan Fifield of Chicago, IL.  Special Friends: Bob Fifield of Scottdale and Adele Nehas of North Irwin.  Kathi was preceded in death by her former spouse and friend, Donald L. Pilarski Sr.  Arrangements were entrusted to the Willig Funeral Home & Crematory.  On Saturday, September 18, 2021, a memorial mass at Immaculate Conception in Irwin will begin at 9am followed by a burial in Everson and then a celebration of Kathi's amazing life.
