James "Jim" Kendy, 62, of Elizabeth Township, passed away Wednesday, May 12, 2021. He was born October 31, 1958 in McKeesport and was the son of the late Alexander "Bud" and Dorothy (Yenega) Kendy. He was a member of St. Joachim and Anne Parish- St. Michael Church in Elizabeth Township. Jim was a retired truck driver and had previously worked for Basic Carbide and the former US Steel National Tube Works.

 He is survived by his wife, Lynda Ann (Hayduk) Kendy, daughters, Erica Lynn (Rob) Heil of White Oak and Ally Marie Kendy of Elizabeth Township, granddaughters, Marissa, Brenna, and Kassidy Heil and special cousins, Linda and Gail. He was preceded in death by his brother, Alexander "Buddy" Kendy. Friends are welcome Sunday, May 16, 2021 from 1-4 and 6-8 pm at the Gilbert Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., 6028 Smithfield Street, Boston, Elizabeth Township.(412) 751-5000 Drew J.
