Stephan "Steve" Semko, age 78, of McKeesport, formerly of Clairton, died May 9, 2021, at UPMC Montefiore Hospital.  Born July 25, 1942, in Clairton, he was the son of the late George and Anna (Keresten) Semko and beloved husband of Adrienne "Lynn" (Snyder) Semko for 48 years.

Steve worked for National Tube Works and J.C.Penny and was a jack of all trades who could do roofing and paint.  He was an outdoorsman who enjoyed nature, whether hunting, fishing, or foraging for mushrooms.  At home, he spent much of his time outside tending to his garden and flowers.  His family will always cherish the camping trips they shared when they were younger.  In addition to his wife, he is survived by children Stephanie (Frank) Semko Schibik and Todd (Freedom) Semko; grandchildren, Morgan, Tyler, Kyleigh, Brandon, Anthony, Devin, and many nieces and nephews.  Sibling in-laws Cynthia (Brian) Barnes, William Snyder, Richard (Linda) Snyder, Carolyn (Scott) Crane, and Keith (Tina) Snyder.
He was preceded in death by siblings George (Mary) Semko, John (Connie Caliguiri) Semko, Mike (Mary) Semko, Ann (Anthony) DaBaldo, and Mary (Walter) Adams and sister-in-law, Tracy Snyder Robertson, his mother-in-law and father-in-law Nancy Ludwick Snyder and Raymond Snyder.
Family and friends will be received at Jaycox-Jaworski Funeral Home & Crematory on Thursday, May 13, 2021, from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m.  
A memorial service for the deceased will be at 6 p.m.  
The funeral service will be held on Friday, May 14, 2021, at 10 a.m. in the funeral home chapel.  
Burial will follow at Mt. Vernon Cemetery.
