Torrance A. "Torry" Viviano, age 63, of West Mifflin, passed away on Sunday, April 4, 2021 at UPMC Presbyterian. He was a retired electrical engineer at Bettis Atomic Power Laboratory. A member of West Mifflin Community Baptist Church, he was a good provider for his family. He enjoyed ham radio and all electronics and photography. Born February 22, 1958 in Pittsburgh, he was a son of the late Dominic and Betty (Opfar) Viviano. He is survived by his son, Brandon T. (Chelsea Higgins) Viviano of Clairton; daughter, Kristen (Lydia Vota) Viviano of Wheeling, WV; grandchildren, James and Bella Viviano and Roman Higgins; former wife and friend, Kim Fleischer of White Oak; brother, Don (Connie) Viviano of Mt. Vernon, IN; and nieces and nephews, Tony Viviano, Nikki Viviano, Sarah Gillingham and Ben Painter. Friends will be received in the Paul E. Bekavac Funeral Home, 221 NOrth Second Avenue, Elizabeth on Thursday, April 8, 2021 from 2-4 and 6-8 PM. In order to comply with Covid-19 restrictions, guests are required to wear masks and follow CDC social distancing guidelines. You may be asked to limit your visiting time so that all guests will have an opportunity to pay their respects. The family would like to express their understanding to those who are unable to attend due to the Covid-19 pandemic. A memorial service will take place on Friday, April 9, 2021 at 12 Noon in West Mifflin Community Baptist Church with Pastor William Strauch officiating. Burial is private in Round Hill Cemetery.
