Joan H. Walker, 88, of North Huntingdon, passed away Wednesday, March 24, 2021 at her home.  She was born January 15, 1933 in McKeesport, a daughter of Raymond W. and Agnes (Wakefield) Harris.  Joan was employed by Norwin Veterinary Hospital and G. C. Murphy Co. Home Office in McKeesport.  She was a member of the New Hope Presbyterian Church, previously Christ United Presbyterian Church, were she was an Elder, Deacon Sunday school teacher and secretary.  She was past president of the Markvue Manor Woman's Club, past president of Friends of the Norwin Public Library Board of Directors, member of the Women of the Moose Irwin Chapter #171, North Huntingdon Civilian Police Academy and AARP #3221 North Huntingdon.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Paul Walker.  She is survived by her daughter, Kathleen Stypula and her husband, Steven; sons, Stuart Walker and his wife, Laurel, Timothy Walker and his wife, Alice; grandsons, Bradley (Katie) and Brian Walker, Harrison Stypula, Adam and Benjamin Walker.

Friends will be received on Saturday from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at New Hope Presbyterian Church.  A funeral service will follow at 1 p.m.  Interment in Penn Lincoln Memorial Park.  In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to New Hope Presbyterian Church or the Norwin Public Library.  www.shirleyfuneralhome.com
