Barbara B. Brady, 80, of Sewickley Township, passed away Sunday, February 21, 2021.  She was born December 9, 1940 in Braddock and grew up in East McKeesport. She was the daughter of the late William Beck and Ruth (Eckenrode) Beck Aiton. Barbara worked at the University of Pittsburgh before raising her family, later returning to work at the former Daily News in McKeesport and the former Baldock nursing home in North Huntingdon where she enjoyed playing the piano for the residents.  She was a member of The Church in Sutersville and the former Sutersville Presbyterian Church. Barbara loved going to the ocean throughout her entire life and was able to see, and touch, the ocean for the last time in December. Barbara, most of all, loved spending time with her family and was very proud of her grandchildren, often traveling to celebrate birthdays, attend soccer matches, band and orchestra concerts, dance recitals, and high school and college graduations.

She was looking forward to the birth of her first great-grandchild later this year. Left to cherish her memory is her son, Bruce (Camille Beliveau) Brady of Chesapeake, VA, daughter, Beth (Carl) Anderson of Tucson, AZ, and grandchildren, Michael (Kaylin) Brady, Corrie Brady, Ian (Briana) Anderson, and Carly (Fiancé Dexter Poland) Anderson. Barbara was preceded in death by her husband of 61 years, Robert Brady Jr., who passed away in October 2020 and her sister, Carol Immel. There is no visitation. Memorial service will be held Saturday, April 10, 2021 at 11:00 am at the  Penn-Lincoln Memorial Park, Inc. North Huntingdon when she will be reunited with her husband on their 62nd wedding anniversary. Arrangements are by the Gilbert Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., 6028 Smithfield Street, Boston, Elizabeth Township. (412) 751-5000 Drew J. Gilbert, director.
