Evelyn Elizabeth Balint, age 86, of McKeesport, died February 18, 2021, at UPMC McKeesport Hospital. Born November 6, 1934, in McKeesport, she was the daughter of the late Stephen and Margaret (Tobias) Balint.

Evelyn retired from McKeesport Housing  Authority where she was a Support Service Representative. Prior to that, she worked at the G.C. Murphy Co. Warehouse with over 30 years of service. She was a member of the St. Nicholas of Myra Byzantine Catholic Church of McKeesport. Evelyn also attended and volunteered at the St. John the Baptist Ukrainian Catholic Church of McKeesport, where she was a Pierogi Pincher, bread, and nut roll maker. She enjoyed attending bingo and visits to the casino with friends. Evelyn's greatest joy was making sure her nieces and nephews were happy.
She is survived by her brother, Richard (Kathleen) Balint of  Myrtle Beach SC; nieces, nephews; great-nieces and nephews; great-great nieces and nephews; cousins; and best family friend, Joseph Vorkapich of McKeesport.
In addition to her parents, Evelyn was also preceded in death by her siblings, Robert, Edward, Elmer, Stephen, John, and Margaret.
Family and friends will be received at Jaycox-Jaworski Funeral Home & Crematory on Friday, February 26, 2021, from 4 to 8 p.m., with a memorial service at 6:30 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated, 10:30 a.m., on Saturday at St. Nicholas of Myra Byzantine Catholic Church. Committal prayers and burial will follow in St. Nicholas Cemetery of North Versailles.
