Ann Spade, 96, of Duquesne, died Wednesday, Dec. 23, 2015, in Magee-Womens Hospital of UPMC, Oakland. Born Nov. 25, 1919, in Duquesne, she was a daughter of the late Vincent and Xavera "Sarah" (Venchaite) Gricus. She was a member of Christ the Light of the World Parish, Duquesne. She loved cooking, animals and the Pittsburgh Steelers.

She was the beloved wife of the late Nicholas P. Spade; mother of Carol (late Robert) Kacey, of Churchill, Janet (late Patrick) Kacey, of West Mifflin, Lorraine Fabrizi, of Duquesne, Nick (Christina) Spade, of West Mifflin, and Anthony Spade, of Duquesne; grandmother of Jason Spade, Robert Kacey, Matthew Kacey, Veronica Spade-Simak, Nicole Kacey, Anthony Fabrizi, Kimberlee Spade and Nicholas Spade; great-grandmother of Dean Spade, Aubrey Guciardo, Darin Spade, Isabella Simak, Cecelia Simak and Lilliana Guciardo; and sister of Sophie Troczy, of Arizona. She was predeceased by her husband, Nick; son, Raymond Spade; and grandson, Justin Spade. 
Visitation from 12 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 27, 2015, at the MALOY-SCHLEIFER FUNERAL HOME INC., 915 Kennedy Ave., Duquesne, 412-466-3300, William B. Schleifer, supervisor, William Brian Schleifer, funeral director. Blessing service will be at 9:30 a.m. Monday, Dec. 28, 2015, in the funeral home, followed by Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. in Holy Name Church of Christ the Light of the World Parish. Interment in Holy Name Cemetery, West Mifflin.
