John Henry Elm, 69, of Rockwood, passed away Wednesday, December 9, 2020 peacefully at home surrounded by his loving family. He was born February 10, 1951 in McKeesport and was the son of the late Robert and Colleen (Ulm) Elm. John worked for Fayette Heating and AC, and the former Parkway Plumbing and Heating. He was a US Marine Veteran and served honorably in the Vietnam War. For his service he received the National Defense Service Medal, Vietnam Service Medal with 1 Star, and the Vietnam Campaign Medal w/device. 

He is survived by his loving wife of 41 years, Carol L. (Hardy) Elm, his sons who idolized him, John A. (Mandy) Elm of Baldwin, Chris R. (Laura) Elm of Moon Township, Charles L. (Jess) Elm of Somerset, and Justin H. Elm of Rockwood, brothers, Joel (Lois) Elm of Versailles, Robert "Bobby" (Cindi) Elm of McKeesport, Marty (Karen) Elm of White Oak, and Charles "Al" (Peaches) Boyles of Greenock, his grandchildren who he adored, Alex, Brandon, Seth, Ava, Nicholas, and Eleanora, and nieces and nephews.
