William David Alund, 88, of White Oak, passed away Monday, November 23, 2020 at home. He was born August 14, 1932 in McKeesport and was the son of the late George Gustave Alund, Sr, and the late Edith (Swanson) Alund. William was a member of Christy Park United Methodist Church and was a member of the former Jenny Lind United Methodist Church where he was in the choir for over 60 years. He also enjoyed participating in the McKeesport Barbershop Chorus and the National Carbide and Tool Society. He retired from Champion Tool and Die after 50 years of employment and was a US Army Veteran serving during the Korean War.

He is survived by his wife of 62 years, Judith (Johnston) Alund, and their 5 children, Carol (Mark) Druga of Greenock, Amy (Ray) Stipanovic of Palm Coast, FL, William "Bill" (Jennifer) Alund of White Oak, and Jody West of Gainesville, FL, and Robert Alund of North Versailles. Also his grandchildren, Megan Linebaugh, Nick Druga, Stevie Reilly, Casey Little, Leah King, Kyle, Gaven and Dorian Alund, and Ellie West, great-grandchildren, Bryce Carter, Liam, Callie and Anna Linebaugh, Talia, Naomi, and Catalina King, and Gracie Rue Little. His sisters, Betty Nail of TX, and Dolores Erkel of White Oak, and nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his brothers, George G. and Robert C. Alund. Friends and family are welcome to visit Saturday, November 28, 2020 from 12 noon to 3pm at Gilbert Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., 1638 Lincoln Way, White Oak (412) 672-6322 Troy J.
