William L. Spang, age 75, of White Oak, died October 7, 2020, at Select Specialty Hospital.  Born September 6, 1945, in McKeesport, he was the
son of the late Anthony and Leona (Glaub) Spang and the husband of the
late Virginia (Gossman) Spang.

Bill was retired from the railroad, where he worked in the administration offices. You could also find him every year on Hartman Street during the Christmas season with his brothers providing trees for the community. He was a US Army veteran serving during peacetime.
Bill was a member of VFW, PA Triumph Association, and the 11th Ward club, where he was an avid pool player. His greatest joys in life were spending time with his family and good friends, along with fishing and taking an occasional cruise in one of his classic cars.
Bill is survived by his siblings, Rose Miskalis of McKeesport, Joan
(Vince) Aiello of White Oak, and Herbert of FL; niece and nephews, Lisa
(Scott) Beatty, Jay (Susie) Miskalis, and Scott (Chris) Aiello;
great-nieces and great-nephews, Lexi, Athena, Angelo, Taylor, Anthony, and
great-great-nephew, Gianni; along with many cousins and special friend Francine Pavone. In addition to his
parents, William was also preceded in death by his brothers, Thomas and
Donald.
Family and friends will be received at Jaycox-Jaworski Funeral Home &
Crematory, on Monday, October 12, 2020, from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m.
A service will be held on Tuesday, at 10 a.m., in the funeral home chapel.
Committal prayers, military honors, and entombment will follow in Penn
Lincoln Memorial Park Mausoleum.
