John "Jack" F. Bell, age 89, of White Oak, formerly of North Versailles, died September 22, 2020, at Mount Vernon of Elizabeth. Born March 3, 1931, in North Versailles, he was the son of the late Donald F. and Margaret (Rawlings) Bell and the husband of Mary Elizabeth (Robinson) Bell.

Jack was a self-employed plumbing supply salesman working for Hodes Company and previously, Crane Plumbing and Star Plumbing. In his early years, he worked as a merchant marine working on riverboats up and down the Mississippi. Jack was a graduate of the University of Pittsburgh with a BA in Business. He was an active member of the First Evangelical Free Church of McKeesport, where he was in the choir and a member of The Gideons International. He loved to serve the Lord.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by his sons, Robert F. Bell of Munhall and John Mark (Michele) Bell of North Huntington; step-daughters, Sue Leffard of McKeesport and Karen Leffard of Morgantown, WV; grandchildren, Barrett, Darren, Jordan, and Hunter; great-grandchildren, Drew, Eli, and Elsie; sisters, Marjorie (Michael) Provan-Madivich and Donna (Thomas) McClure; also nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, Jack was preceded in death by his brother, Fred Rawlings Bell.
Family and friends may be received at Jaycox-Jaworski Funeral Home & Crematory on Sunday, September 27, 2020, from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. and 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Private Family Service and Burial in Restland Memorial Park will take place.
