Elda Polidora, age 89, of North Versailles, died September 11, 2020, at UPMC McKeesport. Born October 8, 1930, in McKeesport, she was the daughter of the late Donato and Maria (Gatta) Buccini.

Elda retired from Westinghouse, where she was a secretary for over 20 years. After retirement, she went to work at Katsur Dental & Associates, where she was a file clerk for over 26 years. She is a member of Mary, Mother of God Parish, and attended St. Patrick Church, where she was a CCD Teacher and Extraordinary Minister of the Eucharist. Elda belonged to the St. Patrick Ladies of Charity, Faith Group, Bible Study, Volunteer and Associate at the Divine Redeemer Motherhouse, RCIA support person, St. Ann's Auxiliary and Devoted to Rosary and Divine Mercy. She enjoyed Pirates Baseball, cooking, and baking, especially known for her perfectly made Lady Locks. Elda would often joke she was doing her CPR, crocheting, puzzles, and reading. These were a few of her favorite things, along with sewing, gardening and sending greeting cards every chance got.
Her daughters survive her, Carol Polidora of Squirrel Hill, Susan (Jennings) Stover of Morgantown, WV, and Sandra (Barry) Donahoe of Cranberry Twp.; grandchildren, Laura (Aaron) Ashcraft, Maria (Raymond) Van Tiflin, Mark Stover, Jill (CJ) Schiddel, Stephanie Barel, Daniel (Bella) Barel, Timothy Donahoe, and Emily Donahoe; great-grandchildren, Will and Giada Ashcraft, Natalia Van Tiflin, and Scott Schiddel; brother, Ernest (Helen) Buccini of McKeesport; nephew, James (Christine) Consiglio and family; Godchildren; special friends and neighbors.
In addition to her parents, Elda was also preceded in death by her sister and brother-in-law, Ada (Joseph) Consiglio; great-granddaughter, Bailee Ashcraft.
Family and friends will be received at Jaycox-Jaworski Funeral Home & Crematory on Tuesday, September 15, 2020, from 10:30 a.m. until 12:30 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated, 1 p.m., at St. Patrick's Church. Committal prayers and entombment will follow in New St. Joseph's Mausoleum.
