Grant Leslie Scott, 74, of White Oak, passed away Sunday, March 22, 2020. He was born October 24, 1945 in McKeesport and was the son of the late Daniel I. and Mary (King) Scott. He was a member of St. Stephen's Episcopal Church in McKeesport, and was a life member of the McKeesport Sportsman's Association and the Eleventh Ward Welfare Association. Grant was a US Army Veteran serving in Vietnam and was a retired Environmental Services Section Chief at the Veteran's Administration Hospital in Aspinwal. He had previously worked for US Steel - Irvin Works. 

He is survived by his wife of 48 years, Diana Jean (Orr) Scott, sons, Grant L. (Ellen) Scott, Jr., of Eldersburg, MD, and Kevin (Shelley) Scott of Jefferson Hills, daughter, Kathryn Scott of North Versailles, grandchildren, Brandon, Kaitlyn and Colin Scott, sister, Lois Scott Carey of McKeesport, brother, Delbert Scott of West Mifflin, and nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his brothers, Donald, Jack, William, Malcolm, and Barton. Private visitation and service will be held at the Gilbert Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., 1638 Lincoln Way, White Oak. (412) 751-5000 Troy J. Gilbert, Director.
