Ralph J. Whitney, 74, of McKeesport, died Friday, March 20, 2020 at home. He was born September 12, 1945 in McKeesport, and was the  son of the late Joseph and Nora Whitney and brother of the late John “Jack” Whitney, Lenora Gibbons, Joseph “Billy” Whitney, and Charles Whitney.  He was a retired supervisor for American Bridge.  He was a proud member of the Mary Mother of God Parish (Corpus Christi Site), where he also served as an usher. Ralph was a member of the Eleventh Ward Welfare Association in McKeesport and the Sutersville Moose.  He also served as the president of the McKeesport Senior Center.

He is survived by sisters Bernadette Wible, Joan (Larry) Beauseigneur, brother Raymond (Marcie Remensnyder) Whitney, many nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews, and a large and loving extended family. PRIVATE Mass of Christian Burial will be held at Corpus Christi Church and burial will follow at St. Joseph Cemetery, North Versailles. A Memorial Celebration will be held at a later date.
