Edith F. Finney, 87, of White Oak, passed away Sunday, December 22, 2019. She was born July 7, 1932 in McKeesport and was the daughter of the late Isaac Wesley and Goldie (Swanson) Couchenour. She was the wife of the late Glenn Alvin Finney who passed away May 22, 2008. They were married for 59 years. Edith was a member of Kephart United Methodist Church in McKeesport. She was part owner of the former Glenn A. Finney Funeral Home in Sutersville and was a beautician. She was also a Rental Manager for Brandywine Agency, Amore, and Sierra Management. In her earlier years she loved to entertain and was a great cook. She was a friend to many, and her family was always first in her life.

She is survived by her son, Barry K. and his wife, Deborah (Boehm) Finney and her daughter whom she resided with Sherry L. (Finney), and her husband, Michael J. Brakeall of White Oak, grandchildren, Adeste (Finney) Petro, Barry Jr., and his wife,  April Finney, Christopher and his wife, Diane Finney, Erin (Halley) and her husband, David Tirpak, and Tyler Brakeall and Haven Bittner, great-grandchildren, Chase Finney, Hayden Finney, Lyrik Petro, Kenadi Finney, Maddie Finney, Wesley Finney,  and Isabella Brakeall, along with nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her brother, Harry Couchenour,  and sister, Leona (Couchenour) Tibbles. Friends are welcome Friday, December 27, 2019 from 2-4 and 6-8 pm at the Gilbert Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., 1638 Lincoln Way, White Oak. (412) 672-6322 Troy J.
