Charles Swartz, age 44, of McKeesport, passed away October 5, 2019, in his home. Born April 29, 1975, he was the son of Kathleen Swartz and Charles (Chantal) Swartz. Charles enjoyed every minute of life, and if we all could have seen the world through his eyes, the world would have been a better place.

Some of his favorite activities were going to car shows, deep-sea fishing in Florida, white water rafting, bowling, watching Pittsburgh Steelers games, gardening, and watching re-runs of old television shows. Charles was a member of the Beulah Park United Methodist Church, was involved with the MYARC and Family links organizations, and was also a member of the 11th Ward Men's Social Club, where he made many great memories with his father.

Along with his parents, Charles is survived by his sister Desiree Swartz of McKeesport; nieces Cherri Halfhill (Robert Ferrari) of Lincoln Place, Brandi Halfhill of McKeesport; great-niece Lyric Washington of McKeesport; stepbrothers Tom (Dina) Shanko, Douglas (Tracy) Shanko , very close friends Maria Hruby of Dravosburg and Thomas “Pop” Schmucker of the Poconos . Charles is preceded in death by his nephew Andrew Mcgee of McKeesport. Family and friends will be received at Jaycox-Jaworski Funeral Home & Crematory on Tuesday, October 8, 2019, from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m.  Funeral Service will be held immediately following at 6 p.m., in the Jaycox-Jaworski Funeral Home chapel.
