Helen Kish, 87, of Port Vue, died Saturday, Jan. 2, 2016. She was born Dec. 14, 1928, in Port Vue, and is the daughter of the late Andrew and Mary Adamkovich Yaga.
She was a caterer and worked at the Palace Inn in Monroeville for approximately 20 years. She was also a member of St. Mark Parish for many years. She is survived by her loving husband of 64 years, Joseph Kish; son, Joseph Kish, of Port Vue, James (Denise) Kish, of Wheeling, W. Va., David (Sharon) Kish, of Port Vue; daughter, Marcia (Greg) Lombardo, of Port Vue; grandchildren, Caitlyn, Jamie, Amber and Ashlee; and great-grandchildren, Hailey, Hannah and Alexa.
She was preceded in death by siblings, Anna, Mary, John, George, Joe, Steve and Andy. Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the HUNTER-EDMUNDSON-STRIFFLER FUNERAL HOME, 600 Market St., McKeesport, PA 15132, 412-678-6191. Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday in St. Mark Church, in Port Vue. Burial will follow in Calvary Cemetery in Port Vue. Remembrances may be made to the Food Bank c/o St. Mark Church.
