Dexter A. Stockdill, 60, of Elizabeth, passed away on Sunday, January 3, 2016 in Jefferson Hospital. He was a retired steelworker for U.S. Steel, Clairton Works. Born March 9, 1955 in McKeesport, he was a son of Ruth (Wagner) Stockdill of Elrama and the late Ira Stockdill.

In addition to his mother, Dexter is survived by his wife of 34 years, Tammy L. (Tyhonas) Stockdill; daughters, Autumn (Matthew) Gaydos of Rostraver and Korie (Paul) Adams of Elizabeth; grandchild, Livia Gaydos; sisters, Linda Mancini of Elrama and Karen Aiello; also, nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins. Friends will be received in the Paul E. Bekavac Funeral Home, Elizabeth on Tuesday, January 5, 2016 from 2 - 8 pm. A funeral service will take place on Wednesday, January 6, 2016 at 10:00 am in the funeral home chapel, with Pastor Mark Clark officiating.
