Richard A. “Rico” Simica, age 47, of McKeesport, died April 18, 2016, at his home. Born December 25, 1968, he was the son of the late Richard G. and Albena A. (Ornowski) Simica.
Rico was the owner of Mama Pepino’s Pizza in Elizabeth. He enjoyed restoring automobiles and could often be found reading or watching the History channel. Always willing to help anyone, Rico was a wonderful brother, uncle, great uncle and friend.

Survivors include sisters, Beth (Kirk) Mollica of Elizabeth and Jennifer Sokolsky of Irwin; nieces, Karlie Mollica and Ashley Sokolsky; nephew, Jared Mollica; great niece, Emma Grove. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by sister, Lynn Simica.
Arrangements are entrusted to Willig Funeral Home & Crematory. In accordance with Rico’s wishes, no visitation is scheduled. Inurnment will be in St. Mary Polish Cemetery, beside his parents and sister.
