Daniel T. Tomko, age 90, of White Oak, died February 1, 2019, at home. Born July 24, 1928, in Braddock, he was the son of the late Andrew and Ann (Vasko) Tomko and the husband of the late Jeannie (Duffy) Tomko for over 62 years.

Daniel T. Tomko, age 90, of White Oak, died February 1, 2019, at home. Born July 24, 1928, in Braddock, he was the son of the late Andrew and Ann (Vasko) Tomko and the husband of the late Jeannie (Duffy) Tomko for over 62 years. Daniel retired from the Union Railroad, where he was an engineer, with 40 years of service. He was a member of Corpus Christi Church. Daniel enjoyed gardening and working on his property, he was always keeping busy. He also loved animals especially his daughter's horse, Bear and his beloved cat Mona. Daniel is survived by his daughter, Cheryl (Terry) Fox of White Oak; grandchildren, Vicki (John) Wilkinson, Lisa (John) Druga, Shawn Tomko and Jenny (John Sava) Tomko; great grandchildren, Joe, Jake, Gus, Cody, Morgan, Seth and Zeb; siblings, Mary Smith of Cape Cod, MA, Rita Marino of Butler, Monica (Don) Mazik of Latrobe, David Tomko of Butler, Andy (Eileen) Tomko of Glenshaw and Kathy Tomko of Glenshaw; daughter-in-law, Marsha Tomko of North Huntingdon; also many nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents and wife, Daniel was also preceded in death by his sons, Daniel and Gary; grandson, Nicholas "Nick" Tomko. Family and friends will be received at Jaycox-Jaworski Funeral Home & Crematory on Friday, February 15, 2019, from 10 a.m. until the time of memorial service at Noon, in the funeral home chapel. Inurnment will follow in Penn Lincoln Memorial Park. Memorial contributions are suggested to the White Oak Animal Safe Haven, 2295 Lincoln Way, White Oak, PA 15131.
